Errrrrrrrr.To sell me more products and subscriptions instead of actually helping me resolve my issue. If their payment software is in that much of a mess how can their other service be any good ? The only redeeming feature - they answer emails pretty quickly but ask silly questions like do I want to pay for my renewal again. What are Iolo playing at ? They know they requested £49+ and were refused but have no record of the £15 payment.

To-day the fraud department of my bank contacted me as 2 payments were requested 1) for £15 + which they paid and 2) another for £49 + which they declined. I took it up and paid and received confirmation that my license was renewed for another year. I then received another offer to renew at £10 +. I don't need that so declined the offer and determined not to renew. I tried to speak to their customer service who could only offer a 3 year subscription with 1 year of Tech help 24/7. I was offered renewal at 60% off but when I took up the offer I was charged 7 times what was offered. System Mechanic may be good but, gosh, their repeat subscription payment system is a mess. I am continuing to cancel all the additional features they have added on and will most likely cancel the feature I originally wanted. Due to this effort on their part to charge me for untold numbers of features I DO NOT RECOMMEND USING SYSTEM MECHANIC IN ANY FORM. Today I found out that they have billed my credit card for an additional feature that I didn't want. I tried for at least 20 minutes to make him understand I wanted to cancel this additional feature and he kept repeating that my card was rejected. Well, apparently it wasn't because I received a credit card statement showing the charge. I told him repeatedly to cancel this feature and he kept repeating that my card was rejected.

The customer service rep could not speak very good English and apparently couldn't understand it either. I tried to cancel one of the features and was redirected to a call center in El Salvador.

However, I am extremely disappointed with all the additional features they add on for an additional cost. I decided to use it again about two months ago and it appears to operate as well or similar to its past performance. I used System Mechanic years ago and was pleased with it's ability to clean my system up and enhance the function of my PC.
